my sugar glider and i are bonding nicely. she still wont come to me on her own. i always have to coax her with treats or sticky fingers..but if it works, i dont mind. i'll be patient with her. my biggest problem right now seems to be the smell! i was wondering if anyone else had this problem. she reaks! i read bourbons page and have been trying the "crown royal" bag for her to cuddle in and sleep in. she does all her "business" in the bag as well tho and it doesnt take long at all for her to stink up my whole house! is it a natural odor that they have? will i always have this problem? i wash the bags and have experimented with baking soda in the bottom of her cage etc. (she cant get to the baking soda so it wont hurt her, but still doesnt absorb enough of the odors!)i know ferrets have a natural odor and can be descented, is it the same w the sugargliders? i love her and want to keep her but i cant handle my home stinking all the time. i have an iguana that doesnt stink as bad as that little thing! a lot of stench for such a little girl!! lol. any suggestions would be appreciated.. thanks. kelli
