I am so glad to read that I'm not the only one who feels this way. Having been blasted here myself once, I know how it feels. People come here for information, and if they get stepped on, they may not come back. KK's right -- the glider is the one to suffer for it. Luckily for my glider, I was stubborn and stuck around. However, I don't ask questions here any more. After being blasted once for sharing information, then getting a whopping ONE answer to the only question I've asked since then (which I took, whether true or not, as a "cold shoulder" from the resident experts), even stubborn old me pulled back. I continue to read, and share info when I feel I have something to offer, but I keep my shield up.

There were recently some real big attacks on this board. It really bothered me a lot, and I felt really bad for the people, and their gliders, who were just looking for help and got squashed instead. I completely agree with the pact idea, and I'm in! KK, you're my kinda person!
