I have red lights in my girls room, so they can see me, and I can see them. You can by them at any store that sells light bulbs. I think they call them party lights (they come in blue/green/yellow and red) the red works great. I agree. Gliders are made to be awake at night. Their eyes are not adjusted to teh light and prolonged exposure could hurt them. But them I spoil mine so that when they come out my house lights go off. This makes them happier and far more active. PLEASE do not try this. Yet another sick and nasty piece of advice from a pet shop. I wish they were all banned from selling gliders.
