As far as a license, yes you do need to be USDA approved to sell (and I have heard) to give away gliders. However you don't need it to breed for yourself. I may be wrong here but they really are not looking for the little guy like you and me, I believe they are more interested in the people that actually sell their gliders or do a bulk breeding thing.. Like I said I may be wrong.. After all I am human..
