Everyone else on this board that also helps all so well. I wish to say thank you for the support I and Betsy have received from you. I can't speak too much for her, but I myself really do appreciate it. Sometimes I come across pretty hard on people that are wanting to get gliders. Not that I mean to sound so harsh, but I have seen too many times where someone wants them because they think they are cute and cuddlely and they believe they will make the perfect pocket pet. Too many times to see those same people getting rid of their gliders, no longer spending the time with it or neglecting and abusing it, after the newness wears off. I personally try to get people to research them thoroughly prior to the purchase. What I mean by research is not only all you need to know about gliders in general but also read all you can about what others have went through to get where they are today with theirs. (Read all of the archives) The biting, crabbing, and "demonic stages". People that expect a sweet loving glider from the begining, thinking they don't have to spend the time or their patience with it. Those that don't take the time to research, makes us wonder if they will take the time with their glider. Betsy and I have our own ideas how to do things, but we are not so inflexable not to still try other things that may work. We too get on here and get ideas from different people. There are many good people on this board that also give excellent advice, some of which are very different than ours. Owning a glider is like haveing a newborn of your own. What works for one may not work for yours. It is the same with gliders. Each have their very own personality and characteristics. What works for mine won't always work for Betsy's. Be prepared to get others ideas and suggestions and you will have a worldbook of knowledge to try with yours. If you read each post as if it were your glider or one that you sold to someone. You will remember each response well. I think of each glider out there as being my responsibility. Not that I treat it that way, (sometimes i sound like I do) but that is how I read each and every post. So if sometimes I come across a little harsh, I apologize. When someone asked if they are right for a glider, I give them MY OPINION. I think and wonder, I ask myself, would I give him\her one of mine? Definitly not without making sure they at least research first.. I take my hat off to all of the posters on this board, for putting up with me sometimes, and for helping all those who are asking.
