I wouldn't feel to bad about missing the experience. If you really want it, next time you have live pinky mice, handfeed them :-) Every 2 hours for the first week or so. It is rewarding but exhausting to handfeed gliders. Given a choice, I would never handfeed, unfortunately, we aren't always allowed to choose :-)
