I'm sorry he didn't make it, he was probably just too weak. Please don't take it too hard, there may have been something else wrong with the joey that his mother sensed and that's why he was rejected. As long as his sister is growing and not showing cuts or scratches, I would trust the parents to care for her. As I said on another thread, I'm currently feeding one joey that was rejected while her sister is doing great with the parents.

I know how horrible it feels to think it's going to be all right and then find the poor baby dead. Keep in mind that you did nothing wrong. You tried your best but sometimes that just isn't enough.
