I agree with the other reasons listed but...heres the one I worry about. People ahve posted that they keep their gliders in glass before and that it caused the gliders great stress. Gliders love to climb the sides and hang upside down from the cages. People who use glass find that the gliders become stressed when they can climb the sides. Some will even throw themselves aginst the glass over and over trying to climb it. Yes they can climb the trees...and they may not notice if its big enough...but my feeling is knowing gliders they will still wnat to climb the sides.
