Research above everything is the most important - within that you will find out everything you always wanted to know about Sugargliders and MORE.
I have found the one thing new owners are not prepared for is the complicated diet and the SMELL - especially if you have an un-neutered male. This is not objectionable to most people who know what to expect,but it can also be quite a surprise. Sometimes cleaning the cage constantly will only make it worse.
Please don't buy one just because you saw a "good deal" in the paper. MAKE SURE THIS IS A PET YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE AS MUCH AS A 10 - 15 YEAR "INVESTMENT" IN!
