You can easily leave mazuri omnivore as free-choice food. I have done this for many years with no problems, Maria has done it for over 6 years. People who are telling you differently are scaremongering because they are too silly to think for themselves. (I have seen your posts elsewhere). My gliders eat very little of this but I do have it in the cage with NO problematic side effects.
http://sugarglider.net/supplies/foods.aspl sells this and also insectivore diet which I believe also serves exactly the same role.
