: 1. The place I want to put my S.G. cage, I don't think is dark enough; should I cover the cage with a towel in the day time?

It shouldn't be too dark they need to be able to tell the difference between night and day, Just remember no direct sun, and no drafts. (hot or cold)

: 2. Do S.G. go potty whenever or is there a certain amount of time inbetween?

Mine also is tissue broke, however they will go whenever and where they wish, males will mark out their territory, New gliders may skunk you for awhile till they claim you as theirs.

: 3.How much does it cost to powder coat a galvanized cage? What's powder coating anyways?
??????? I use the vinyl coating myself
: 4.Do S.G. wake up early on days when it's dark and overcast?

Mine don't they sleep most of the day, stormy days they have a harder time though.

: 5.When you guys talk about "American Express" gliders, are they awake most of the time you take them everywhere?

Mine are "American Express" and sleep most of the day, therefore I don't really worry about taking mine out. They will peek out once in awhile to see where I am, but other than that they go EVERYWHERE with me.

: 6.Is it possible to train them or at least get them used to waking them up in the day and going places?

when I put my hands into her pouch, she comes right to me she chooses whether or not she is going.. She will climb right into my pocket and go to sleep. Right now she has joeys in the pouch and sometimes she wants to stay home so I let her. But as a general rule she goes with me each day..I surely don't want her awake when she goes with me either. Too many things can happen. MOST of us who pocket train our also train them to stay in the pocket and not get up and play when we are out.
