However, with most of the accepted/proven diets out there the same problems exist. Making sure they get the right amount of calcium and protein, is, for the most part easy. Unless, of course, you have a glider that say, for instance, prefers to eat more of their fruits and veggies then whatever you use for the calcium supplement! Either way, I guess it is very hard to make sure a glider gets enough of, or not too much of, the vit E, K, and the selinium, especially if you are relying on the fruits and veggies. And even if you can find these as supplements, how can you be sure to not throw off the balance by the other things you offer your sugar gliders? I guess the only way to really be sure is to find a pre-mixed SG food that is "self-contained". But, then with the purely pelleted diets I have heard you can have problems with contipation, and I imagine it would be a pretty sad glider that had to be restricted to a dry, hard, pelleted food every day. Brisky's is like this, but do the have the right mix of vitamins and stuff? I am not trying to challange your knowledge of glider nutrition. It is just such a controversial issue right now and one that I am trying to understand. So when I ask questions, I am just trying to get information. As far as the Happy Glider food, have you ever seen the breakdown of ingrediants, nutritional info (a basic one, protein, fat, fiber, etc)? You keep saying it is not a proven diet, which I am well aware of, but have you seen anything that makes it a bad diet (at least the way I am using it)? As far as its content? You have mentioned problems getting information on it from its owner before. Anyway, thanks for all the information you have given me, or can give me! I will certainly keep researching!
