I saw a picture in a magazine and decided I had to have one, so I started talking to breeders. It took me a couple of months to find a nearby breeder and during that time I read everything I could find about gliders (which wasn't much 7 years ago). Then, while I was waiting for the breeder to let me know my joey was ready, I saw 3 in a mall pet store. I traded 4 hedgehogs for 4 gliders (3 males, 1 female). I was told to feed fruit & cat food which I knew couldn't possibly be right. And thus, the research really began :-)
