I am so sorry for you Kim(and I mean that) I would be very very sad if that happened to my Alli. I guess it is better he died instantly then be in pain. Also it is better that he died with people he loved and they loved him. I had something like that happen when I was little. My cat got ran over and my mom found him.She was on her way to work and we had cought the bus already, so she gave the body to our nieghbour(We lived in the country) and the nieghbour buried it in the wrong spot so my dad dug him up. Well it was pretty horrible to see our beloved cat flat.( I am serious,he was flat) and his intestines coming out. My mom started to cry. He was a very very good cat. We put flowers by his grave almost every day in the summer. But then one day me & my sister when over to the nieghbours house and she said that there was a kitten hanging around her house.Every 1 there wanted to kill it(except her)and almost did 3 times but she saved it and gave it to us. We named him Simon and he was another very good cat. I hope your story turnes out good too. My deapest sympethy GT
