When they come out of the pouch to eat, remove the pouch so they can't get back in it. Lure them out of the cage if you can with the licky trick. I've done this in the past and it has worked for me. Not to say it would work for everyone. It is worth a try though.

: They sleep all the time and only come out when it is time to eat. I am just wondering what I can do to get them more active. I try to play with them around 11 but they just crawl back into their pouch. They are really sweet and love people. I can put my hand in the cage and they will let me pet them and won't crab at me. They will also take Leadbetter's Mix from my fingers.
