I agree with the cat situation you have to be EXTRA cautious. I have a cat, and although she TOLERATES my gliders when under supervison, I know she'd eat them in a heartbeat. I have small bungee cords on all of their cage doors, and unfortunately this limits their space to run, as we have found only one room in our house that we can completely glider proof and keep the cat out as well.My gliders love to sleep on me while I'm watching t.v. and at the same time, my cat is either on the top of the couch near my head or at my feet sleeping. When I'm letting them do this, I have to make sure that I am alert and not falling asleep. The second I feel that I could drop off, I put my boys away. I would feel horrible if something were to happen to them, so I get pretty weird when it comes to their saftey. My husband thinks I can be "too" crazy at times, but you can never trust a cat. It's their instinct.

: Would chomp that glider so fast your head would spin. Some cats do well with gliders under supervision ONLY. I dont suggest even trying to put them together if you get a glider.
