Jess, I am sorry that you feel this way, Many of the people that posted stated they respect you. I asked you not to take it personal. All we were doing was commenting on the article and our feeling about that. It wasn't meant towards you in anyway shape or form. These were our opinions, for that I won't apologize. You made a post and brought an article to our attention. Each persons response was on the article and the person advertizing the gliders. You are one of only a handful of teens that has stuck with your glider through thick and thin. Maybe you should go back and talk with some of the teens or adults that got a glider as a fad pet. See how many have stuck it out. See how many have had gliders die. See how many really got tired of their glider and sold it or gave it away. How many times is a parent going to allow their child to get bit before the parent steps in? There are too many factors you know that. You spend a lot of time with your Roo and you were finding a hard time trying to get through the obstackles of being a teen , whether it was a busy schedule or your parents. Either way it was difficult for you and you WANTED to spend time with Roo, what about the ones that don't. I stand my all my posts and as I said before, no one was flaming you they were relaying their opinions on the article and the one advertizing.. Just a thought... If you HAD to get rid of Roo. Would you take her to that pet store to find a good home for Roo. As you said, you suppliment the diet with various foods, but not just cat food, nuts (which by the way is a VERY popular diet for petshop gliders not to mention how fattening it is)and fruits. I wonder if they feed FRESH FRUITS and VEGGIES what about calcium suppliments? Again I am sorry you feel that way..I am not sorry I made the posts..
