well i think i have pretty much decided against the hedgehog. i wouldn't want the poor thing to get mauled by my little tuff guys plus i didn't realize the extent of their prickilyness. thanks to everyone for the help. you can read all you want but its so much more informational to hear from people with personal experiences. thanks again
