Okay Maria, I am also a firm believer in waiting till a glider is older before selling them, by 6 months they have already established their own personality, and they are ready for their own people... Some vets won't do it sooner I know. The tie off method, as far as I am concerned is very cruel.. but that is my opinion... As for the breeders.. many would love to do the neutering but the demand out their as was stated earlier is for breeding.. not so much as pets.. they all think they will recoup their monies on the first litter.. So they are buying pairs.. breeding them, and have no ide what they are in for.
many breeders say that if people can't get their gliders un neutered from the breeders they will only go back to the open market.. and we already know whats happening there... so until those that are selling (verbally or visually) these gliders as a "perfect pocket pet" takes responsibility .. this will continue...
