My breeder as well as 3 other breeders in Canada all use galvanized wire. They said something about the metal poisoning is because of uncleaned cages, the urine sticks to the cage, and then IF the gliders chew A LOT on cages,
then thats when they get sick. Its not some BIG problem that everyone else makes it seem. How many cases have there actually been...proven? My cage is galvanized. My breeder has successfully bred gliders for something like 6 years without any problems whatsoever. Once again, its all a matter of how you care for the pet.
