As we all know SG can be very picky eaters. If they don't like mealies then why go to all the trouble of disguising them - they would probably just lick off the licky and leave the worm. If YOU don't like them, then use tweezers and place in dish they can't crawl out of as suggested before.
They can get the protien from something else without the fat.
Just like toddlers, you won't be able to force them to eat anything they don't want to :-)
