you guys are making it seem as if all teens are irresponsible and only get sugar gliders because they are with the cool list. I get teen people (I'm a subscriber) and when I saw that sugar glider it's cute little face I decided to read the little message. It said they bond with you and you can carry them in a pocket and so I thought I would get one but DUH of course I was going to read more about it before I just went off and got it. I'm sorry but most people don't just get an animal without knowing the consequences first. Even if teens did get them they would have to okay it with their parents and if the teens didn't look for info on them well of course the parents would just as they would if they were getting a lizard or a dog or something. They'd have to know what to feed it and what not. you shouldn't get peod at a magazine article like that... it's just saying something that would make a cool pet to have. i'm getting one BECAUSE of that article and I looked up the information on what it needs, the sounds it makes and what they mean, their lifespand, what their environment has to be like, and so on. If you don't want sugar gliders to become popular in the U.S.A and you think that they are not good pets for certain people... then I guess that's just your problem.
thanks, i'm not offending anyone but I got offended when people were saying teens weren't responsible enough when I know how responsible of a person I am.
