While I was on vacation last week the joey I was going to pick up this week died from unknown reasons. Through some chain of events I ended up getting two others. A year and a half old female, Sugie and a 7 month old male, Sir William. Will has been an absolute sweetheart he loves to be held. So is Sugie, but is not as calm as Will. What I didn't expect with 2 females is a fight for dominance. Pebbles and Sugie used to live in a cage togethor whne they were younger. They got along and played with each other. When I put picked up Pebbles from my brother, I put her in the cage with the other two and a fight broke out. Pebbles is younger and smaller than Sugie but she went after her and tried to mount her. They started crabbing and Pebbles put Sugie on her back and would attack her if she tried to move. It seemed like Sugie was trying to make friends but Pebbles would have no part of it. Another funny thing happened. Will almost seem to try to mediate. He would move in an try to get between the two. Pebbles left will alone. She only went after the female.
