The only thing I can say about a name for your glider is that for a long time there was someone posting here who always talked about his glider named Yoda.

Congratulations on your new addition... I hope things are great!

As for leaving him in his cage, my glider left the breeder in my shirt, and he arrived in his new home in my shirt. I got him so young that I never had any problems adjusting him to his cage or to me. I hope you are as lucky! Good luck!
