Well just an idea here :) but maybe he is looking back as if to say "Why are you tossing me around?". I have 2 gliders that LOVE to glide. Mine if they were like on my shoulder and WANTED to glide they would scope the destination and go. If he really WANTED to glide 3 or 4 feet he would do it on his own. I too have the blanket on the wall. Mine glides as far as 8 feet to the blanket, without my help. It is like you jumping over a trench, If someone through you each time, it would take you longer to learn how to scope that jump on your own. Try instead of tossing him, try just lifting your hand in the air. It is so much more awsome to watch them..1. scope their distance, (mine rock back and forth first) 2.watching them get the nerve to glide naturally. The feeling of the bonding of knowing they WANTED to glide to you is great. If mine wanted to glide to someone I wouldn't have to toss her.. This is just mine thought on this issue.. and btw 3 or 4 feet isn't 30 feet by any means.
