It IS a cute picture. What is she eating Jess? It looks like oatmeal.

I have stayed out of the teen magazine thing up til now -
I am glad that you posted it. I am also glad that everyone freaked. It
means that we all love our gliders and the species in general and do not
want them to become FAD PETS anymore than they already have.
I only know 3 people personally who own or have owned gliders. The first
one decided that he hated gliders and couldn't sell them quick enough (I
bought two of his 4). The second person decided 3 months after getting
hers that she hated them. She kept them anyway, but never tried to play
or bond with them. One died of loneliness, I am trying to find homes for
the other two. And then, there is Bourbon.
One out of three people love their gliders. The other two hate them.
Jess, I think that you took the replies wrong. They were directed at the
fact that TEEN MAG has this article. No one should have shot the
messenger!
It honestly seems to me that only 1 out of 5 people that get gliders will
actually keep them and love them. As they become more popular and the
price for them goes down - they will quickly become disposable pets.
I have too many gliders. I cannot play with them all. Bourbon yells at me
constantly about this. She would like me to find homes for some of my
gliders so they can get 1 on 1 attention and I can give the ones I keep
more attention.
But Jess, I cannot find anyone that I trust with my gliders. No one!
Ramble, ramble, ramble. Sorry. I guess I made my point already.
