Ramona,

Okay lets do this a step at a time..

1. Barking. The theroys out there about the barking are numerous, Betsy and I came up with something that was pretty cute. What we figure is that they use it for story telling amoung people or gliders.. No don't worry if he don't bark it is quite alright. As he gets used to his new surroundings he will be barking periodically, also unless he is in the same room as you, you may not hear it. They bark in the middle of the night mostly, However; they have been known to do it during the day too. :)

2. Marking.. He probably is and you may be missing it. Also be sure he IS uriniating.. Also remember they mainly mark for females.. Also give him time and enjoy the time while he isn't doing it. :)

3. Gliding... The fact is , he CAN do it. The good thing is , that he feels like staying with you.. enjoy it.

Good Luck
