I am currently a college student. I really have had no conflicts at all. Then again, I have never even been inside a dorm room.
I went to the local college and lived at home until I had 60 hours (the requirement before they don't make you live in the dorms.)
I transferred to my college of choice (SWT) and got my own apartment. This is when I got my first sugar glider.
The apartment didn't really allow pets, but I already had a cat and various other pets, so what was one more.
They did find out I had a cat when I moved out and took a pet violation fee out of my deposit ($75.)
Even apartments that allow pets will usually require a pet deposit (sometimes nonrefundable.)
If you have a college in your area, get your basics there and then you can transfer to Cornell later.
If you have to get a job it will be a lot harder, but it can be done.

: I plan on going to Cornell University College when I graduate highschool. And I am assuming that Roo will still be alive in 5 years. I dont know what I will do with her, she cant live on campus cause thats not allowed. And I dont know if I could afford an apartment. Oh no!!! Anybody here that can clear me up on this college factor that has come up? Thankx!
