I got my sugar gldier out for the first time last night.We
Just took off the lid of his cage and he came out and sat
on the rim of the cage where the lid goes. He ran on the
rim for a while, then jumped onto my bed and started
investigating.I have a futon bunk bed.For those of you
who don't know what that means, it is a bunk bed where
the bottom is a double and folds into a couch.Anyway, the bed
was a bed, not a couch, and Pockets ran all over it. Then
he jumped off and ran all over the floor for a while and went
back into his cage. Later he climbed up the door frame.
When he got to the top, he stuck his front legs out to see if
he could walk on walls as easily as doorframes. It was too
slippery for him, but he tried anyway, and fell.When he realized
that he was falling, he stretched out his membrane to break the fall.
Luckily, I caught him.He ran up my arm and then jumped/glided
back to his cage. We played with him for an hour or so, then
put him back, as he would not come out of his cage.
One question. When willnhe let me play with him?I tried to pet
him, but he ran for cover.Any suggestions?
