Someone said just ignore a post that you don't like or agree with - okay. So, no one replies when someone
says something outrageous and a newbie owner comes on and reads it. There are no replies stating that
others, maybe lots of others, disagree with the post. Therefore, the newbie would ass-u-me that
whatever was posted must be correct.
I think the problem we are having on this board has little to do with people not liking replies - half the
time they didn't even read the reply correctly before they jump in crabbing. The problem is there are
TOO MANY immature people posting on this board. They are not reading and learning as much as they
are looking for a post to either brag or slam someone.
THAT is my opinion on what has happened to this board.
I am almost fed up. I came here to try to help new owners. When I was researching and learning about
gliders, very few people on the glider circuit would answer my questions. Therefore, I was eternally
grateful to those that DID take the time to try to help me. I have tried to do the same, on here and in
private email, to help others. I am begining to feel that my presence is no longer needed. There are many
wonderful glider owners on this board who can now pick up the reigns. I will still be here, reading and
replying from time to time. But I hand over the baton to Bourbon, Diana, Kim, Jane, Xay, W and all the
other fine glider owners.
I would like to say that before this board became a battle zone, I enjoyed my time here.
