As I said in my first post I DON'T want to throw my gliders. They glide fine. I have Caroline's book. I just want to know how would someone throw their glider. They have sharp claws that cling to skin. There was a couple posts earlier on people throwing gliders 30 feet just to see them glide. I just want to know how that is possible. I'm not going to ever throw any glider. Kim : I have read in a book by Caroline MacPherson that you can teach your gliders to glide. If they've been in captivity for a long time they "forget" how to glide. She suggests you and a friend place the glider on top of a rolled up towel. You each hold an end and swing the towel (gently, not rapidly)and encourage the glider to glide.
