I have 2 gliders, 11mo. old male (Sugar) and a 9wk. old female (Flower).
I have done ALOT of reaserch on gliders and always read everything i can find about them (I dont always agree, not every thing you read can be right)

A balenced diet is a MUST for these little guys.

I found that my gliders sometimes get picky and will only eat melon (sweet, "candy" fruit) so i decided they MUST have a balenced diet & eat it to. I decided to blend evry thing together ( like homemade babyfood) and freeze it so it wouldnt spoil.
Some of the ingredence in my homemade glider foods:
mellons ( assortment)
grapes
carrots
brocclie
corn
peas (assorted types)
blueberries
Kiwi
cherry
cucumber
and much much more...

They also get NEKTON LORI NECTAR about 3-4 nites a week and they are alowed to eat BRISKEYS GLIDER PELLETS as they choose (YES - they DO like to eat them)
I DO NOT however force my gliders to eat the pellets - i do not believe that an animal who eats fruits, nectars & sap can have all its nutritinal & mental needs met by a pellet.

I do know that nuts, seeds & dairy products should be given only as a treat & NOT in large quanitys. Nuts & seeds are fatty & offer very little nurrition & dairy products have MANY bad side effects, and could lead to things such as constipation witch can kill a glider or eye cateracts which could lead to blindness.

May people give dary products for calcium, but this can be avoided by using glider boosters and calcium & vitiman supplements
