They are very dependant on thier owners though, and it's different from other pets because they're nocturnal.......People generally sleep through the night, every night, a person could go quite a while real quick without even seeing their pet.....at the same time, it still need to be fed a variety of fresh food and clean water faithfully EVERY day (or night), a glider owner must be dedicated to this task. A sugar glider will live 10 - 12 years and will be a great companion if you are patient and consistent in caring for it and handling it regularly. Good luck finding your baby and best wishes for the years to come. Well, I wouldn't try to talk anyone out of having one, just that you should learn as much as you can about them BEFORE you invest, keep seeking until you find a good source of information that you can depend on. : Well, i live in florida and the reason id want a permit : is so when i go to a vet. And trust me, im ready to and : willing to raise a gldier, ive had MANY wild animals ive : raised from birth, ive had a crow, a squirrle, and a vulture : so i think i can raise a glider, maybe, im not sure though. :
