There are some people that will hold their glider under water to keep them from biting. Whatever you do don't do it it can cause pneumonia and they will die. I suggest you offer him lowfat yougurt or some type of food on the end of your finger so instesd of biting you he bites the food and then associates your hands and fingers to something good and not bad. I'll tell you what Bourbon says roll down and read through the archives and you will find about anything you want to know.: i just got my first glider two days ago. hes 4 months old named dexter. he has bit me quite a few times since then, but none of them really hurt. i was more scared than hurt. is there any "nice" way to help him to stop biting sooner? also i have a really hard time getting his leash on him. thats when he bites really hard and squirms alot. i finally got it on him yesterday and within 5 min he was out of t already. also the bfeeder i bought him from sai d that i dont have to cut his nails, she hasnt cut hers in over a year. is this true? id appreciate any info. im really excited to finally have a glider, i just want to have a great relationship with him.thanks in avance
