the t shirt thing that i usually suggest for bonding. that way he will be playing with you.. Okay let me try it this way.. Pocket tee. the tees with a pocket in it.. EVERYDAY wear one.. hang it in his cage instead of what ever you are using for him to sleep in.. everynight while he is playing switch the tee with the one you wore that day.. this will serve many puposes..
1. it will have your fresh scent on it.
2. it is pouchlike
3. while he is playing in his cage at night you will always be there with him (scentwise).
4. It teaches him that the pocket is a place to sleep.
5. It will become his safe zone. He will feel secure there..
6. It will give him something neat to crawl on, in , and out of..

Be consistant with the switching each day.. do this for as long as necessary (average time 1 week) you will start to notice how much quicker he comes to you in the morning, he also will want to stay near the shirt.. so if you take it out at night put it on during playtime. you will find that if he gets scared he will run for your pocket, and he is more likely to play on the shirt that he has had in the cage all night.. On top of this be consistant as hard as it may sound you have to try not to disturb him while he is there (showing him off) at least for a while.. he has to learn that it is a safe zone for him. Pet him often ever so gently and talk to him often..
