Hi, Julie. Any way that your Dad could drive you over once a day in the evenings to check up on her and feed her? If not then maybe someone that your mother approved of could stay at home with you. If that won't work and you really have to go to your dad's apt. then (as a last resort) maybe taking her to your friend's house would be O.K. You're right about the bonding but it MIGHT be alright for this once. Just let them spend some time with you when she's up at night to get her used to them. Show them how to handle her and glider proof a room and feed her. Call them everyday to check in and answer any Q's that they might have. I hope that this works out for you.
