I'm not sure about left V.S. right but I get the idea that gliders are on about the same I.Q. level as cats in some ways. Mine don't respond to their names unless they want to. Or, unless they hear the rustle of the goodies bag, then I have two very best freinds. I can tell that they know their names they (like cats) choose to disregard what they have no interest in.
