: My daughter Lizzie and I bought a sugar glider (Nathan) about two years ago. When Nahan was about nine months old I found him dead. I had my vet do an autopsy but he never found anything wrong with him. We are now ready to get a another one but before I do I wanted to know if anyone every had this happen to their sugar glider. Thanks Lizzie and Susan

HI I have been researching and learning about sugar gliders for months now. Unfortunatly I have never owned one due to the fact I live in CA. As you all must know CA bans almost all exotic animals. The fact is I would like to purchase one some time . I have reads alot about thenm and heard a lot of stories about them dying. Is this common?? I would hate to finally get one and it die on me. I saw one on Animal planet that died from nomonia.I think that is how you spewll it. But not many vets are famliar with the animal and then they have a hard time treating it. Good luck to all you owners. I hope to eventually be called a owner myself. Thank you.
