In my honest opinion I think you should be the only one to mess with him the same as she is with Jasper.. We made the mistake here since I was home all day and up all night, I had Smokey, and took him out to play often, The problem was it was confusing Smokey, He was bonding to me and it made it harder for Dad to have his bond..I decide I was going to ignore him so Dad was the buddy.. I was just another person in the house. I can still remember the day.. It was about 4 days since I had anything to do with smokey, then I took him to lunch with me, I was meeting Dad. As soon as he heard Dads voice he shot out of my pocket into dads. It was great.. That was the beginning of their bonding. To thins day I spend as little time with smoke as I can.. Dad is Boss to him..
