I have to agree with Amanda but, let me clarify it a little, If you have to ask if they require a lot of attention, then that gives us the impression you are looking for a low maintenance pet. Gliders are not low maintenance. They requires hours and hours of bonding, care, and many times yoiu have to get up in the middle of the night to play with them 2 hours after a very long hard day..There are times when I am so tired it is hard for me to drag my bootie out of my chair, but my babies require me to be there for them, Not only do they require it they will demand it..Research is very very important especially if you have no idea what it is you are getting into..Read the back posts from the beginning see what people have endured for their gliders, They, bark in the middle of the night, fresh fuits and veggies must be cut each night, 2 hours of play time, some bite so hard the not only draw blood but the go all the way to the bone, some smell horribly, some crabb at their owners and act like they want nothing at all to do with them..As Amanda said these are a high commitment animal 15 years of this in some cases.. some bond easy, some take months and others NEVER bond. If you have to ask how much they are, then is money an issue? vet bills can start at 200.00 per visit..depending on what is wrong. Are you prepared for a burning face when your glider decides to glide to you when you least expect it and gouge and scatch you deeply? If these sound harsh, they are but this is what a lot of people go through with their gliders, only to have them left in the cage because the owner had no idea what to expect..They are cute but there are downsides too. Don't look at getting one just yet. research and really look at the what if's of getting one first..It isn't all glamour and sweetness. it requires a lot of time, perseverance, patience, pain, rejection and love to get where a lot of us have gotten to.. some people never do get the bond they want..Are you prepared for all this? You are asking for facts and figures.. lets start with the facts first..
