How old is Willie? Do you feed him leadbetter's mix? when he runs around do you have the window drapes pulled? I have found that ,like birds, they don't see the window and could be hurt by gliding into the glass. I've made sure that there are no plants or flowers that are harmful to them in the room aswell. For a list if plants that are dangerous go to the I.S.G.A page and see. also electrical cords are a favorite chew toy and should kept behind things so they can't be reached and plug protecters used in electrical sockets. i have removed anything that they could knock over on top of themselves as well. I guess if you look at your room as you would to protect a 1 1/2 year old child you would see what was potentially dangerous and make the changes but keep an eye on him, he may just find something that was missed and get hurt. Hope this helps. Glider love and nibles, Diana
