Fresh water at all times. I give our babies glider chow but that is hard to get cause it is from my breeder, but if you want to try it i'll e-mail you the phone number and address. Other's have used brisky's. Until they wake up at night our gliders don't want to eat anything but when they do wake up they are HUNGREY! Glider love and nibbles,Diana
