We have a little girl who became pregnant at only 3 months old. She started off with two lumps in her pouch but lost one early in her pregnancy. The other joey was carried in the pouch a bit longer than usual and died 3 days after he came out of the pouch, he was very boney and his tail was gray instead of black. She seemed to take the proper care of it but just wasn't able to nourish it. It's recommended that you wait until the female is 7 months old before allowing her to be kept with a mature male. I had no idea this little girl could become pregnant while still a baby herself and it was a sad thing that happened with her. I'm just thankful she's ok. It's too soon to tell how this will affect the rest of her reproductive life. Thresa : i have a female glider she is 4 months old : im getting a new male glider that is 2 yrs old : soon. when do u think they will mate : is to soon ok??
