With this little girl, I'd wait until she was atleast 6 months OOP. You should wait atleast a couple of months anyway before introducing these two so that the male can get used to you and MAYBE bond with you. If the female isn't bonded tightly to you she would shift her bond to the male and you'd have no chance, possably, with either. This is all a possablilty, sometimes things do work out but why take the chance? I know that this means having two cages but it is worth it. I had my Griz for only a couple of weeks when we got Lily, but they didn't meet for a month. By then Griz was 3 months OOP and Lily was 2 months OOP. Lily became pregnant, as far as we can tell, at about 5 and a half months OOP. We watch her like hawks to make sure that she is doing fine and I changed their diet to include more protien and calcium for her because there is a bulge in her pouch and she is now suckling a joey. I can only hope that she and Griz were old enough to be good parents. If not then I must take up the slack and help out. I'm prepared to do this but I worry all the same. I wouldn't recomend gliders mating too soon, but they are animals and I've been told that they won't mate before they are ready and I don't know anything about rape in the wild but why take any chances. Anyway, good luck! Glider love and nibbles, Diana
