The best time to cut them is in the early afternoon between 11:00-3:00 the reason for that is that they are the most docile at that point, they are real tired. if you gan get her to fall asleep on you or in your hand then you can clip them with no problem but be sure you just clip off just the tiny point about 1/16 of an inch..if she wakes don't make any sudden movements just pet her back to sleep..
