Not all gliders like to have their nails cut when they sleep. I cut Jerry and Cherie's nails at night when they are awake. Mine sit still and watch me cut. They struggle when I try to cut them when they sleep. I do put them under a light to make sure I don't cut the vein and I haven't yet. I just put one at a time on my knee and grab(gently)one paw and starrt cutting. Mine are very tolerant and trusting. If yours isn't as tolerant, I suggest the wodent wheel. Very good idea. Kim

: Hello to all,
: I have read all the past archives and maybe I missed it
: so I hope this is not a dumb question. But..Does anyone
: have any good techniques for clipping their nails. My female
: really hates to get her nails done no matter how pretty I tell
: her she is going to be. I can do the back feet but she is
: very defensive about me doing her front feet. Thanks in
: advance for any thoughts you care to pass on.
