I got a sugar glider from a pet store about 2 months ago. They said that she had been there for about a year because she was mean and nobody wanted her. We got her home and now a few months later, she still is not friendly. We have her in the dining room so she hears our voices and she gets used to us. Anyway she will be out of her house (at night) and when she sees us, she races to get back into her house. Then she sticks her face out of the hole. I don't know if we should get her a companion or not. I hope that someone has some suggestions.
