: okay here's the setup: i've had velcro since the 3rd of the month. i picked her out myself, knowing that she was the quietest one of the bunch i had been watching for the past few weeks. then along came mickey. my father bought her, on a whim, and presented her to me a week to the day after recieving velcro. (both are females) : the problem: velcro, being very sweet and calm natured, found mickey to be the best of playmates, and, as mickey was still a peer, yet older (i think this might become a dominant thing between them. mickey has a thing with being active, running onto your back so you have to wait until she crawls to your side to get her, and especially nibbling. she doesn't draw blood, she just loves to nibble at me. especially when i have her cradled in my hands like she is in a pouch. : well, i once held velcro and mickey together. mickey decided it was munches time. velcro watched, thought it was pretty funy to see the faces i was making and began chewing herself. : now she's a big biter, and i have no idea how to stop her! i got mickey to quit, except when she feels very agitated and wants to go home to eat. velcro, though, won't stop! i tried ignoring it, hoping she would get bored, i tried pulling away when she did, i even tried to distract her from me with a yummy fruit piece. i don't know what else to do, ans while she hasn't drawn blood, it still worries me that she may and that mickey will get back in the habit. : i'll take any suggestions, so long as they worked for you! : arigato, : -Dela she may be possibly biting herself because of a bug bite? but it is very unlikely that she will start drawing blood or maybe its just a glider habit like how some people bite there nails , pick their noses , knuckle cracking ect. I hope i was some kind of help. good luck
