Manzanita branches are probably the best, because it is a very hard wood and cleans easily. This makes it a good wood for the Gliders to chew on and lasts a long time. They can be found in our catalog of products for Sugar Gliders and other Exotic Pets at: www.angelfire.com/biz/WORLDWIDEPETS We also sell bottle-fed baby Sugar Gliders and are located in Fl. If we can be of further assistance please contact us. Jim of WORLDWIDEPETS : Recently I discovered that the branch I gave my glider to chew on was becoming worn. So, I decided to get him some new ones. Unfortunely, there are no pet shops in my area with enough understanding of these wonderful creatures and their needs to stock the proper, non-toxic branches. So, I cut some willow and crabapple branches myself. My only problem is that I can't seem to figure out how to sanitize them without harming my glider. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Just out of curiosity, is there anybody out there in the Indiana,Ohio,Illinois area that has a young, reasonably priced female for sale (My male needs a mate).
