We have had several babies with white tipped tails. After speaking to great lengths with a vet we have come to the conclusion that these babis are carrying the genes for albinoism. We have never taken a baby and bred back to one of the parents, but supposedly this would increase the chances of producing albinos. But inbreeding is not something we do or suggest. Because you are magnifying any negative traits and would more than likely have weaker and weaker genes. These guys are already fragile since most people don't feed the variaty of foods they need. Nor do they get natural vitamin D3 (and most do not supplement it), which comes from the sun (moon beams). Vitamin D3 help in breaking down calcium so their body can use it to build stronger bones and keep the bones from breaking as easily. We sell a product that contains vitamin D3 (Marmoset Diet). We also make a formula that we sell for the Gliders that contains Colloidal Minerals, Organically grown fruit juice powder and vitamin & mineral powder in a Fruit, Nut & Honey mix ("Supreme Blend"). These and other products can be found in our catalog on the web at: www.angelfire.com/biz/WORLDWIDEPETS If we can be of any further assistance, please contact us.
